The moderator is just that not a speech maker, rebuttals, or interpreter of symposium speeches. In preplanning, limit the time of the speeches and set a method for enforcing the time limitation. Symposiums tend to run on and on. While logical, precise presentations are the key to good symposiums, the interest of the larger group must be stimulated and maintained if the symposium is to fulfill its objective.
